One of the toughest things for any family to do is to continue operating normally, or as close to normal as possible, during times of financial trouble. When a family’s personal finances and level of debt have reached a level where it is affecting their every day life, it may be time for them to seek help. Many times the heads of families that come up against these types of problems feel they have no other option but to declare bankruptcy. While bankruptcy is a valid option for some people, it is important for those facing financial difficulty to know that it is not the only option, in many cases it is not even close to being the preferred option.
DebtGuru.com is one of the other options that those facing adverse financial problems can turn to. They offer access to the credit counseling of America program which allows those in debt to enroll in a program where their delinquent accounts are placed on hold while payment arrangements are made. DebtGuru is a non-profit consumer credit counseling organization that negotiates with creditors on behalf of their clients. Often they are able to eliminate high interest rates and some or all of the penalties involved with accounts that have become past due or slipped into collection. There is usually a small fee for the service, but the amount of the fee is in no way prohibitive when compared to the value of the program.
Having access to a viable debt management and repayment program like this can allow the people who are in these dire straits to not only successfully navigate the seas of bad financial problems, but successfully come out on the other side with their credit and reputation in tact. DebtGuru.com is not a magic cure for all that ails anyone suffering from the mistakes their poor financial decisions have cost them, but it is a valuable tool available to those that want to take the first step to overcoming the mistakes of their past. Many past clients can vouch for how valuable a service this is, they are now enjoying life without being chased by debt collectors and don’t have to worry each and every time that the phone rings that the person on the other end may be calling for money. Enrolling in the programs offered by DebtGuru.com is just the first step to regaining financial freedom.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a website you could go to and see what other people have to say about certain people that keep trying to call you? Caller ID is effective to a certain degree, but it isn’t 100% foolproof. There is a place that people can go though to check out who exactly is calling them. The website is ReportPhoneNumbers.com and they allow users to report and comment about calls from specific numbers. In this way, other users will know what to expect from that number the next time it shows up on their caller ID.
The website is easy to use and if you would like to take part in this Phone Number Reporting project… go check out ReportPhoneNumbers.com right now!

Halloween is just around the corner and it is time to think about costumes. At one time we regularly attended a yearly costume party that was fun for the whole family. The kids have lost interest in dressing up with the adults though and do their own thing on Halloween now. They’re still into dressing up and wearing something that is truly spooktacular, they just don’t want the old fogies around… and who can blame them really?
I’m sure that my idea of what is cool won’t be my son’s idea, but personally I think he’d make a great Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Carribean movies. He’s got a little of that Johnny Depp look to him and what is cooler than a pirate really? Finding the best in Teen Halloween Costumes isn’t always the easiest thing to do, but there is at least one great source out there.
I think all kids enjoy Halloween as it is one of the main holidays that is both built for them and allows them to have some free expression. That free expression often is found in the ability to pick their own costumes. One of the best places we’ve found for kids to shop for halloween costumes is HalloweenAdventure.com. They have a great selection of outfits and also all the little accessories that really sell a costume as complete. They are truly one of the best Halloween Costume Stores you can find either online or in the “real world”.
So get the kids dressed up and let them not only have a good time playing games, trick-or-treating (safely of course), or just going to a party… but get them a costume they can be proud of when their friends see them in it.
