Wal-Mart Gives Away Green Shopping Bags
Knowing that plastic shopping bags will take thousands of years to degrade in landfills, as part of Earth Month Wal-Mart will be giving away one million of their green reusable shopping bags that normally sell for $1. The giveaway is on April 19th and starts at 8am local time in each of the stores nationwide. Nice to see a company the size of Wal-Mart thinking about the environment.
